I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone that helped to organise the day at The Cavern Club yesterday. It was such a great opportunity to give young children a chance to perform at such a inspirational venue.

A huge thank you to all the Solihull Music team that were involved in making yesterday's trip to the Cavern Club possible... The students of Solihull are lucky to have such a service so easily available to them.

Ciara had a fantastic day! What a great opportunity.

I just wanted to say we had the most wonderful day on Monday, and it completely exceeded my expectations.
My dad recently died in quite traumatic circumstances, and I really needed to just do something fun. You never know what's going on in people's lives or how what you do makes them feel and I love live music.
Every young person playing in that club was so talented and my own son thoroughly enjoyed the experience. What an opportunity you gave those young people.
Thank you so much to everybody who worked so hard to put the whole day together and to Ollie for teaching Danté and running the soul band every Monday.

I just wanted to say what an absolutely wonderful day we had yesterday supporting Jim (SMC guitar group). He was incredibly nervous, but as soon as it came time to set up his guitar and had a lot of reassurance from yourself and Mr Russell he was buzzing and he loved his time up there. I think he's been really inspired and has grown from this experience too.

Thank you to you and the team for a fantastic day. As you know the same bunch of lads have been in the Roadmen Group under your guidance for a number of years and the way they have blossomed... Long may you and Solihull Music continue to make the impossible possible!!

I wanted to write to express my appreciation and congratulations on an inspirational, educational and fulfilling visit to the Cavern Club in Liverpool this week arranged by Solihull Music Service.
The itinerary, organisation and delivery of a hectic full programme was exemplary and from a parental perspective, all participants were involved, encouraged and enthused by the dedicated Solihull Music Service team.
My son and his peers were under no doubt of the privileged position they found themselves in being able to perform at a world famous location on the same stage as major music icons from history; such an opportunity should be treasured (and was most certainly not taken likely by any of the performing musicians) and in these challenging times where COVID has seriously hampered young people's opportunities and abilities to perform and express their individual and collective talents, it was a joy to be able to see them take the stage and realise all their hard work and development that goes unseen from their individual music practice, group practice, song choice and debate, band consultation etc. that culminated in a rewarding day that no one musician performing or family member supporting will ever forget.
The value delivered in inspiring and teaching the next generation of musicians, as well as instilling the critical development needs of resilience and confidence to perform and communicate is something that I feel must be treasured, promoted and nurtured for future school year intakes for years to come.
My profound thanks to Mr Jones, Mr Russell and Mr Samson for their incredible hard work not just in teaching pupils daily but for the sheer time commitment that must be spent in organising such a brilliantly rewarding activity.
Mr Samson and Mr Jones have been central to my son's burgeoning passion for Bass guitar through weekly lessons and encouragement to join the Saturday morning Music club at which he is thriving and is an absolute highlight of his week; his overall confidence in all aspects of life (including mental health) as well as love of music has flourished since he has been involved with Solihull Music Service.

Thank you so much for the fantastic opportunities you give to my children to enhance their musical development along with mental well being. You and your team are such an asset to the Music Service.

Thank you for the great concert last night. It was a wonderful evening and so encouraging to see the range of talents from the young people.
I know that joining SMC Jazz has been beneficial... it has increased his passion for playing and improved his technique and stamina, and he has grown in confidence and playing in the band is helping him with his social skills and friendships too.

To watch those kids get up on Stage and see the talent they have is the most amazing feeling and I cannot thank all the Staff involved enough.

Last night was brilliant and shows all the effort and hard work from all staff and children/adults involved has really paid off, being able to put on such a wonderful night together was lovely to see. Really proud and happy our son is part of this amazing Solihull music family.

Thank you to you and the team for a fantastic day. As you know the same bunch of lads have been in the Roadmen Group under your guidance for a number of years and the way they have blossomed through days like the Cavern experience as well as the other events organised by Solihull Music is incredible.
They are a group of just normal everyday kids and over the last few years they have all gone through tough times even without Covid 19 such as parents with cancer and other serious illness not to mention exam trauma!
As they now look forward to university they can look back as the one constant stable thing that has given them incredible growth as people and really good times which helped them through.
The value they have had from days like the Cavern and Abbey road and other events combines the one to one teaching with practical real once in a lifetime experience and gives them a bond with the music service and their fellow pupils that they wont forget.
Long may you and Solihull Music continue to make the impossible possible!!
All the best
